The sakura or cherry blossom season is one of the most anticipated and celebrated seasons in Japan. Popular parks tend to be crowded as people fight for the best spot. We stayed at the InterContinental ANA Tokyo and our room offers a view of the Ark Hills located in Minato-ku. When we arrived, the trees were not in full bloom yet. 
On our last full day in Tokyo, we took advantage of the great weather and had a leisure stroll in Ark Hills. The timing was perfect as the cherry blossoms were finally in bloom. 
Ark Hills is one of the business districts in Tokyo. A quick google and the name “ARK” is derived from the location of the complex at the intersection of the Akasaka, Roppongi, and Kasumigaseki districts. 
It was a Monday and the streets were almost empty except from occasional office employees hurrying to get lunch. A few residents who were walking their dogs while enjoying the sunny weather.
I couldn’t get enough of these delicate blooms and sakura is my absolute favorite flower. In fact, I have a cherry blossoms tattoo on my back.
I’m glad that I saved wearing my white dress for this day. It was the perfect outfit!
We started picking up cherry blossoms that have fallen which I pressed between the pages in my journal as souvenir. It dried perfectly! 
It was the most wonderful stroll so far!
